Just over a year ago I suffered a brain aneurysm, but I survived and miraculously had only some visual impairment which can and is being corrected. I am very grateful for our medical system and the excellent care I've received. I'm also grateful to my family and friends who stuck by me. Healthwise, I'm doing very well these days, and I'm back to writing and playing pickleball. The sound of pickleball is music to my ears! View all posts by John R. Paterson

This poem depicts exactly how I feel when I read those books I can’t put down. My husband doesn’t understand how I can get into a book like that. Obviously, he hasn’t experienced the feeling of being “there”. I guess you just need to find the right book, that will transport you into the unknown realm of the book’s existence.
